Family

Paris Smith & Randall LLP have long been established as one of the leading providers of family law services in the South of England. We have a team of ten specialist family lawyers, most of whom are members of Resolution, formerly the Solicitors Family Law Association and the Law Society's Family Panel.

We have specialist skills in all areas of family law but we are particularly recognised as being able to deal with more complex disputes and high net asset cases.

The leading independent surveys have regularly recognised these skills.

In the latest edition of Legal 500, Paris Smith & Randall LLP was ranked alongside one other as the top family law department in Hampshire and as a leading firm in the region. Richard Smith has regularly been singled out as having 'an excellent reputation for high value cases.'

Head of Department, Huw Miles "has been highly recommended by his peers" whilst overall Head of Private Client Services, Neil Davies, has been praised for his "professional but not intimidating style".

In the 2008 edition of the Chambers Guide to the UK profession, Paris Smith & Randall LLP was recognised, alongside 2 other firms, as the leading family department in the South of England. We were praised for the depth and quality of our service and singled out for our sensible approach in resolving matters both through traditional matrimonial proceedings and also collaborative law.

Neil Davies was named alone as the leading family lawyer in the South and was described as being "never less than professional .... very efficient and reasonable".

Newly appointed partner, Frank Prior, is also named as a leading individual in the South and is respected by his peers for his all-round ability as "a sound family lawyer".

This recognition is a considerable achievement particularly given the wide geographical base of the research. It emphasises the strength and depth throughout the department and emphasises the respect with which it is held by peers and competitors.
